Heated Towel Rails

A specially designed heat emitter which is installed in bathrooms to give a minimum amout of heat, primarily for the warming of bath towels. Often towel rails are designed to be fitted in the primary or secondary circulating pipes, thus providing use in the summer as well as the winter. Towel rails fitted in direct systems of hot water supply or in the secondary circuit must be made of brass or preferably copper to prevent their corrosion.

A towel rail can be fitted into the system in the traditional way and work by convection currents being set up in the pipework. Alternatively a towel rail could be fitted in the hot water heating system the same way as any radiator. There is a wide range of heated towel rails and radiators for your bathroom, from traditional styles to modern tubular or ladder designs.
